My Favourite Nudes

Hello again internet, 

This post is going to be moderately less exciting than the title suggests.. but thrilling nonetheless! 

Here are seven of my fave nude lipsticks that I wear on a constant loop (I used to wear red a lot but I feel nudes are so much classier). 

The first two come from (believe it or not) Wilkinson's (or Wilkos) they not long ago brought out their own make-up line and its super cheap and good quality for the price (Around £3)

Cute nude

Wearing only a smile

'Cute nude' is a sheer glossy nude pink and 'Wearing only a smile' is an opaque creamy pink, I tend to wear these if I'm wearing a 60's/70's make-up look or outfit which I have been lately, I love them, the bottom colour is perfect if you're looking to replicate a twiggy look!

The next two are from NYX (I ordered them from boots online, thank you boots!) (Around £5 each)

Stockholm

Tiramisu

'Stockholm' is one of their soft matte lip creams, it's a slightly orange toned nude which I can't usually get away with but this one suits me just fine and if feels amazing, doesn't dry my lips out at all! 

'Tiramisu' is one of NYX's butter glosses which are really opaque thick glosses and normally I hate lip glosses as I have really really long hair that seems to magnetise towards my mouth, but this one is gorgeous and on top of a nude lip liner the 'Kylie Jenner' lip is totally achievable. 

The next lipstick is one from MAC (The Mothership) (around £15) 

Twig

When everyone was on the 'Velvet Teddy' hype I thought I'd give another nude a chance and had heard good things about 'Twig'.

'Twig' is a slightly pink toned matte nude (as you can see above) and to be totally honest there's nothing else to say about it other than I love it, it suits my skin tone and paired with my 'Whirl' lip liner (also from MAC) it's total perfection. 

Suitable for literally any look.  

Another fave is this next one from MUA (literally so cheap omg £1) 

Treat

As the name suggest this lipstick is a 'Treat' (ayyyy) this is my go to 'Your lips but better' colour and this is the one I carry around everywhere I even wore this for my 21st party paired with 'Whirl' liner (Perfect) at only £1 you really can not go wrong, a pretty nude colour, soft non-drying texture and no offensive chemical or sweet smell, bargain! (srs go check them out if you haven't).

Anyway! Last but not least, 

This is one from Maybelline ( the colorsensational line £6.99)

Velvet Beige (630)

This one is a purpley (is that a word? mauve?) nude which I am in love with, it's super thick and opaque so one coat is totally fine, it wears of evenly (so no weird patches! yey!) and its really pretty with a darker eye look. 

I always go back to this one when I need a trusted, tried and true lipstick that looks pretty with everything.
