**OOTD: My Mad Fat Diary Inspired **

Hello,
So recently I have been inspired by a friends blog 'KillerKitty' to do more outfit inspired posts as her blog is all about fashion.
(before I start sorry about the shoddy photo quality my actual camera broke)

My OOTD is inspired by a show on E4 (only in uk? feel free to correct me if wrong) called 'My Mad Fat Diary' (Set in Stamford, Lincolnshire in 1996, My Mad Fat Diary follows the story of 16-year-old, 16 stone girl, Rae Earl, who has just left a psychiatric hospital, where she has spent four months. She begins to reconnect with her best friend, Chloe, who is unaware of Rae's mental health and body image problems, believing she was in France for the past four months. Rae attempts to keep this information from her while also trying to impress Chloe's friends Izzy, Archie, Chop and Finn.

I highly recommend you give the show a watch its perfect.

anywho!

As it is set in the 90's there's plenty of 'mom' jeans and Harrington jackets about..

So, for my look..

- Vintage 'mom' Jeans, Cow (Vintage Shop) £19 - although I think they were the only pair.(sorry!)
They are the perfect fit, I love them!

-Breakfast Club T-Shirt, Primark £6-8
(I can't remember which, although I believe the are still in stock)

-Floral Headband, Claire's (Was a gift so the price is unknown)

-Lennon Glasses, Ebay (Also a gift around £3 I think)

I then added frilly white socks (Primark £2.50 ish),my plain black trainers purely for comfort as I was going to be walking a lot that day.

Excuse the stickers they were too cute to resist!

Finally I added my Harrington jacket (Vintage Market, around £30) and the look was complete!

(With my hair I just curled it and quiffed it as usual)
